Today is so beautiful. Temperature is 75 degrees - warm for late October in Iowa. I decided that Kira and I would walk out to where Roger works and meet him. It is a 2 mile walk, but only took us 46 minutes. There is a hill a little over a mile into the walk which was a little challenging to go up since we were tired. We made it and it was a refreshing walk. We sat at the picnic table and waited for Roger to get off. There was a wonderful breeze. I thoroughly enjoyed relaxing there.
My morning didn't start out so well. Woke to a fasting blood sugar of 55. After eating something I fell back asleep - woke a couple of hours later feeling great.
Had over 20 orders to get in the mail in the next days. Creating the embellishments has gotten a bit more difficult since my Big Shot Express died and I'm having to use the Quickutz Epic. Not a big fan of the Epic. It doesn't cut the thicker dies like the Big Shot without some jimmy rigging.
From now until November 11, I will be extremely busy getting die cuts made for the Craft Show. Since my Express died, I will be making most of the die cuts from my Cricut. I did put a new Big Shot (crank) on order. I was so excited this morning, when I received the shipping e-mail that it will arrive on Thursday instead of Friday. Well, I better get back to work.
I'm glad I took the time to walk today.
