It's been a very long day! I have somehow managed to fight through an upset stomach (acid reflux - UGH!) and get in some cardio and strength, though not as much as I'd hoped for. My weigh-in this morning didn't go so well, but the numbers on the scale aren't throwing me off. We're halfway through this BLC already. That meant it was time to take my measurements again. What I discovered is that in 6 weeks I've managed to shed 2.5" just in 3 body areas. Not bad.
Here's my overall measurements since I started my weightloss journey on January 7th:
Weight - down 38.2 lbs from 185.2 to 147.0
Waist - down 9.5" from 39.75" to 30.25"
Hips - down 9.5" from 48.00" to 38.5"
Thighs - down 5.25" from 29.75" to 24.5" each
Calves - down 1.25" from 14.75" to 13.5" each
Upper Arms - down 1.5" from 11.25" to 9.75" each
I can't complain about my calves and upper arms - there wasn't so much to lose in those areas as there was to just tone. They are slowly but surely getting there. :) That was definitely enough to put a smile on my face today and help me push through.
