I'm sure you're all saying to yourselves, "what the heck was that?" Well it was suppose to be a video of my friends and I dancing at our 47th "mini" high school class reunion. Yup, you read that correctly, I graduated 47 years ago, in 1964. Strange how when I say "1964", it really doesn't seem so long ago, but when I say that was forty-seven (47) years ago, HOLY MACKEREL!
Anyway, my friends and I were all having a "blast" dancing so I figured I'd tape us and share the video with you, BUT, what you saw, was all I ended up recording. Ha, ha, I thought I was ending the video only to find I was really just starting it. Ha, ha, ha! Now that was a hoot!
Okay, so I didn't get a video, but I do have a couple of pictures of a bunch of "senior" citizens, YIKES, including yours truly, enjoying feeling like teenagers again.
This is me with Jack Langan, I also went to grade school with him.
Mother, Judy Paquin, on the right with her daughter who decided to join us this year.
This is Jimmy Faso & his girlfriend Betsy MacLaughlin. I went to school with both of them & Jimmy's Dad was my Mom's boss, so we also go back further than high school. Now get this, just a couple of years ago, Jimmy and I found out that HE is MY cousin Ronnie's wife's cousin. So we are "almost" cousins.
This is my friend Sandy, remember, you met her in my Cape Cod blog.
Yours truly, caught in the act of exercising by way of a "twist". I THINK!
Well, that's it for the reunion, which was on Friday, October 7th. Next time I'll try to remember to take a video of us dancing for all of us to enjoy.
Now just a couple of pictures from my cousin's NON-TRADITIONAL wedding, which was this past Saturday, October 15th.
It was an extremely small, but lovely affair. There was a total of nine people in attendance, including the two brides, Sarah and Tanya.
Left to right: Patrick, Desiree, his wife & my cousin, Sarah, Tanya, Corey, the ring bearer, Desiree's son, and her 2 year old Isabelle, the YOUNGEST flower girl I've ever seen, being held by her grandmother, Desiree's Mom, Rachel and a friend of Rachel.
Here I am with Sarah & Tanya
This is Rachel's front porch where the wedding took place.
And last, here I am with my cousin Rachel. Her Mom, Rita, is my 1st cousin.
This was two weekends in the life of Ruby Claire.
Thanks for stopping by to check-out my blog.
