What follows a long weekend of studying, a huge A&P test last night, followed by lab till 10pm? Why, getting up at 4:30 am to finish a paper!

Three long classes today. Hello? Second wind??? Where are you?

Hello, Loved your blog today (It's Wednesday here in NZ). More years ago than I like to remember our history prof used to say they were interested in what you knew NOT what you didn't know. And we were assessed for everything in essay type questions. No multiple choice or T/F which I think are designed to bamboozle thinkers and appeal to the less able who can gamble on answers. I've been helping some people studying social work/sociology with English expression and am driven mad by the jargon-laden topics and senseless use of language that seems to be required. It all seems to be about guessing the exact wording and phrasing the lecturers want rather than about meaningful prose. End of sounding-off.
Watch that fibre! We have sewer issues here (result of 8,000 earthquakes since Sept) and it's not funny!!!!!

Oh, that infuriates me with testing. It becomes a game of power.
I used to nail my tests.
    Nail to perfection.
    Retain. Um, never.
So, overall, what is really useful?

Too much fiber? Ya, I have NEVER experienced that. Fiber and protein, so elusive...
I hope you have sweet dreams, Melly. Keep doing your best!

I share the frustration of tests and what they really show.... oh well. You are lookin' good Mel! Keep it up. I remember Anatomy and Physiology. I remember neuroanatomy too. Fascinating and amazing and yet... do I remember the actual information after 25 years? Ha! I certainly don't remember the true/false questions I had issues with... so put it all in perspective. I know what I use today.
