so it's been a couple of weeks now

so far, I've gotten back to the gym and cardio workouts. added weights. Added in water. Lots of water. I try to track calories on my phone with an app from android. quick and easy, makes me think about what I eat. I'm sure it's not exact like the tracker on this site, but it's very easy and keeps me thinking about healthy choices.
I've been away for a weekend. Had my first Philly cheesesteak sandwich. So not what I should be eating, but I couldn't pass one up while there. It was good. Not my favorite thing to eat. I'm good with trying one.
I had my parents visit me. We had lunch out and dinner out a few times.
My nephew came to visit also. We did Hershey, Park in the Dark. Now food there is awful. But I was hungry. I still watched so I didn't do total overload.
I don't feel like I missed out on anything. I don't feel starved. I don't feel skinny.
I am hoping to lose a pound a week. Simple, not too intense. Slow and steady wins the race. right?
so, for three weeks, I've lost 1.5 pounds plus the extra pound I gained right after I set up my ticker. So, 2.5 pounds total. Not too bad for someone who is eating out and watching, but not that closely.
I hope to do better this coming week. So far today, so good.
