Monday, October 17, 2011

I know I've been MIA lately. Some of you know it's b/c I've been super busy with Church stuff & my daughters. Well my oldest will be 16 this Thurs. emoticon I'm NOT too happy about that but what can you do! They grow up WAY TOO FAST! emoticon and I know I'm going to have to face it, it doesn't mean I have to like it! Anyways we gave her her Sweet, not so sweet LOL B'day party Friday night. I think it turned out GREAT!!! Thanks to ALL my helpers!! emoticon I'm one who likes to do EVERYTHING myself and I seriously have problems asking for help but w/o help this time I'm not sure if it would have went so Good!! My sister, my mom, my niece & her BF, & a friend from church. First of all the guy we were renting the building from didn't let us know until the Friday b/f that we definitely had the building, then the cake FALLS apart emoticon I thought I was going to freak out!! I reminded myself that if everything went wrong now that just means everything will Turn OUT emoticon and it did THANK THE LORD!! emoticon
My daughter was VERY Happy and she never dances but she did & she had a great time!! All the kids were great, no arguing, no attitudes, ALL SMILES! emoticon

These girls met in Kindergarten and have been friends since!

This is her BFF!! They have been together since kindergarten and you couldn't ask for a better friendship!! They truly LOVE each other! I'm so PROUD of Both of THEM!!

She found an odd looking cake on the internet & this is what we came up with, not exact but she loved it! That's ALL that matters in the end!

We always do our own cakes but this one Almost got the BEST of ME!! Thank you mama and Amber for HELPING!!

This is Almost the whole group...

Two guys that were running late, I told them they looked like they were trying to pull off a kidnapping! LOL

All in all everything was GREAT!! I'm so Thankful for having such a Smart child w/her sense of morals in the right place. YES she tries me & gives me my share of HEADACHES!! but I'm thankful for her using common sense, knowing right from wrong (when it counts!) and for God always having his hands on her. She is very healthy! I thank the Lord for my daughters!! My family!! My church!! and My Family and Friends!!

Now to get back to the Halloween party for the other one! emoticon

Thanks for sharing this with me. Our basement would work great for this! Such an awesome idea and I can be picking things up now so it won't cost so much to get lights, glow things etc all at once.

Now the cake...You'll have to come and I"ll hire you!

I knew there was a reason for me lurking around was to read this blog (=

Your daughter looks exactly like you, just with blonde hair!!! She is so precious and i love the picture of her and her best friend...that is just so awesome how they have been together since they were little. That's one thing i wish i had..a best friend..maybe it's not too late for God to find one for me, it's just i wish i could have had one like your daughter know..formed from a young age, but moving on. The cake design is really cool. What flavor was it? And did you have a slice???
