Well, it was a successful weekend. And it's been a few weeks since I was able to say that. I refused to not get a workout done this weekend. I am trying to allow myself no more than one full rest day a week, and knowing that technically it's the start of a new week, I wasn't willing to take it today. My rest day is going to have to be Saturday, no matter how much I like it. I'm in a wedding on Pensacola Beach, which is an hour drive each way for me. And on top of rehearsal at 5pm Friday night, plus the drive home, I have to pack my entire family up on Saturday morning to be there by 10am to guarantee time to have my hair done and be ready before a 5pm wedding!?! I don't get why we need all freaking day when the girl who's coming to do hair is only going to be doing it for a few of us rather than the whole wedding party. And on top of it all, there's a cold front that is supposed to be moving through by then... a cold front on the beach (Gulf of Mexico side at that) in a chiffon gown with spaghetti straps and 2 kids 7 hours before the wedding starts. I am so not looking forward to this wedding! As bad as it sounds, I was looking forward to it in the beginning and for the last few weeks I've just been dreading it. My friend went from being a frugal, relaxed bride to a lazy, cheap bride. She is expecting people to eat dinner before they come, even though most people don't eat dinner before 5pm. She only ordered appetizers for 50, even though she's expecting 70-80 and is still inviting people. Oh, and the only invitation that she bothered to send out was on Facebook!?! I'm so over it - I have a bad feeling it's going to be a trainwreck.

Okay, I'm done venting now. LOL I've done pretty good this weekend on my food. My hubby made a giant batch of chili and I've done great at not overeating, or eating it for every meal like I normally would. Unfortunately, because he doesn't measure anything, I've had to guess when entering "chili" into my food tracker this weekend.

Tomorrow is going to be an active day. One of our neighbors is giving us her bedroom suite since she's getting a new one. That means Tony and I will be moving our bed to Daisha's room rather than getting her the loft bed she wanted. And we'll be moving a huge dresser made of real wood and a matching nightstand from one apartment to the other. That is all going to Daisha's room as well. I've already got her dresser emptied and moved into Keiran's room, since he really didn't have one - he only had a couple of drawers in a coffee table that we turned into a bench seat for his room. Since he's recently had a ton of pants and jeans handed down to him, the dresser is coming in handy. And top of it all, I'll be baby-sitting the 4-month old for the majority of the day rather than just for a few hours. And her sister will be here for 5 hours after school.

The upcoming week is going to be crazy so I'm hoping to get through it without throwing in the towel. LOL Wish me luck!!!

    Hey there lady. Whew, is all I can say for you. Sounds like things won't be dull that's for sure. Try to enjoy yourself.

    Good job on the working out too. I try to stick to 5 days and the 6th is a bonus. It is so hard for me to get motivated to workout on the weekends.

    wow - I hope the wedding is better than you think it might be. try looking on the positive side of things =) good luck on moving the dressers and bed - it will be a nice workout for ya LOL - try to get some you time in too!
