And Now We Return To The Regularly Scheduled Routine...

The last couple of days have been difficult - I wasn't feeling great Thursday evening. I had super bad cramps, and working out or running simply weren't an option. I did however, get in about 20 minutes of yoga. I think it helped some, and I was still able to post some fitness minutes for that day. Later that evening my youngest son, Isaiah (5) was sick with a flu. I won't get into specifics but it was an awful mess and I was up waaay later than usual. Sigh ~ oh the life of a Mom! Friday Isaiah missed school, he spent the day with my Mom though - thank goodness she was available! He just took the day easy, ate light. He wasn't quite himself yet - low energy is a sure sign something is up with him. He's a-okay this morning though! I had to get out to do some groceries last night too, my hubby is doing some training in the city this weekend, so I'm with the boys until tomorrow afternoon alone and without a van. I have been planning our meals and making lists for the grocery store which I enjoy having. I didn't have this last night, so I just sort of wandered around the grocery store grabbing stuff. Ugh! I wanted to run last night but the weather wasn't being cooperative, and the indoor track wasn't available due to a hockey game. In hindsight, I probably could have hit the gym at least - but I was beat from the lack of sleep - so I opted to get caught up on my rest and was in bed by 9pm, and only got up at 830am! This weekend is supposed to be rainy - ALL weekend! We'll make the best of it though, I see some board games and family movies in my near future. :) And since I'm stuck in the house, I'm going to do some serious purging - get rid of some of the clutter and put away some of our summer things. Get organized - it always feels better when things are organized. And so now I return to the regularly scheduled routine for my fitness minutes and logging food! I need to get some workouts in - and something significant too. I have several DVD's to pick from so I'll make it count. And I'll make sure to do some strength training too.
Well enough talk... time for some action... where to start?!
