I again get to put my stuff together and travel. i so want to eat better this trip. It is not about staying on a diet but choosing foods that make me feel better. I firmly believe that if you deny yourself all the things you love, you will binge.

So my goal is while on the road, to eat carefully. Once we get there to not feel like I need to eat everything in site. Doggie bags work wonders when I am eating out at home. I ask for one when I order the meal.

So on the road I have some nuts and fruit and carrots. I will take plenty of water. I will stop ever 2 hours and walk..Oh that is a big one for me. I tend to drive until I cannot stand it any longer. Then I arrive exhausted. No, I don't want to do that, I am in training to drive to Alaska sometime next summer.

Dang, I like making it known. It gives me incentive. Since I have renewed my efforts in toward the end of August I have lost 13 pounds. I am finally moving in the right direction again.

    I travel every week for work. I find that keeping healthy snacks on hand allows me to make better choices. I also keep a slimfast bar in my purse for moments when there are no healthy options available. Preplanning works wonders. I wish you continued success. emoticon
