Thursday, October 13, 2011 Day 124
Walked 1.72 Miles / 2.77 Kilometers
47 minutes 226 calories burned

Another rainy day here. I took the recycling in to the metal recycling place and got $11.85. Aluminum cans brought 65 cents a pound. I sold some pie tins and clean aluminum foil that food was wrapped in. It was listed as "old cast and sheet aluminum." I had an old fryer of my Mom's that I didn't have the instruction booklet for and I couldn't get the booklet for that model on the internet. I don't know if it had a lid to it or not. I viewed it as a possible safety hazard and never tried to use it. It was listed as "irony stainless steel." I also had a brass fireplace shovel that the guy missed weighing, but I am not worried about it.

I came home after going there instead of going to the nursing home. Princess hates to go out in the rain and I hadn't let her out before I left. There was a lot of traffic on the streets too. I guess everyone was looking for something to do since it was raining.

I went out to clean up the yard and the neighbor on one side of our house was out with his dog and was complaining about the rain. He is always busy and he said he couldn't get anything done because of the rain. I reminded him that we don't have to shovel rain. He hates winter too, lol! The weather is God's business so I don't complain much about it.

Princess can hold a basketball in her mouth. I kicked her basketball for her while I was outside today. The neighbor that lives on the other side of our house has a labrador retriever, a small white dog, a mixed lab and a Yorkie. Princess and the Yorkie run along the fence together. It is so funny to watch them. He can keep up with her and she is fast. They run from one end of the fence to the other, turn around and run back. Princess wants him to run with her the whole time he is out, but I am sure he gets winded.

The neighbor behind us was out with his dog too. He was raking leaves. His dog looks like a Newfoundland mix. She barked at Princess and the Yorkie, LeRoy, as they ran by the fence.

I went out tonight to take Princess for a walk and I could see the moon and some stars. I saw some lightening in the distance, but before we got home, it rained. I am wet and will put on my nightgown soon. My husband said Princess couldn't come into the bedroom because she is wet.

He got wet when he came in from work. He took a shower and ate supper in his pajamas.

Princess got rough with Crellie this evening. My son and his girlfriend were petting Crellie and I think she got jealous. She didn't hurt her.

I am right behind you at #121. I do an hour a day on the treadmill at the gym. Don't you feel so much better? I do, but I hate it when my doctors are right!

Princess may learn to accept Crellie soon. especially if she finds that she is really not a threat. Good work with exercise.
