My new journey of losing weight

I have a good boyfriend in my life who is wonderful to me in supporting me in trying to lose weight. I don't know if i could do it without him. I want to lose about 150 pounds if my body will allow me to. I know it can but i don't know if i can handle it very well. Im pushing thru this. If anyone has any pointers i would appreciate it. Thanks

    Small goals and rewarding myself have been working for me. I notice when people comment on my rewards ( nice purse!) it gives me an opening to share my plans and goals with others. Always in the past, I've dieted in secret, so that's a big step for me.

    im in the same boat i have about 150 to drop.
    everyday is a new challenge . 1 day at a time.
    small positives add up. remembering we didnt get here over night and we not expect to change over night either.
    having a good support system is good your blessed to have a supportive bf.
    lots of water to help curb snacking and over eating. i personally keep two water bottles with me or at least one bottle in my purse . big purse help keep healthy snacks on hand and water to avoid soda. my friends think im crazy but it works for me.
    try looking at 5 pounds a time instead of 100+
    rewards for every 5-10 pounds material/self time not food !
    work your way up to working out for long periods of time so you dont hurt ur self and or get discouraged

    just remember you CAN do it, negative talk kills a lot of us in trying to succeed. You are worth and can do it, just find your "spark" and make it fun. You will see results.

    Congrats on beginning your journey!!! The pointers I would give is to stick with it, there will be days you'll "fall off the wagon" but we're all human. Another is to remember why you're doing this and keep that in mind when you feel like giving up or eating another slice of pizza lol. emoticon emoticon

    Set small goals for yourself (lose 10 pounds by this date, another 10 by this date, and so on) and reward yourself along the way, but not with food :) Makes things more fun and gives you another incentive to keep going! You can do it. Stay positive!
