In a sane way not insane

Monday, October 10, 2011

So, the third time did not take either. I most certainly need a renewed approach. I demonstrate the classic definition of insanity, trying the same thing and expecting a different result. I paused my Spark People efforts in the spring of this year because my time commitments were too much. Then, I injured myself over the summer; and viola all my hard efforts from 2010 and earlier 2011 land me back at a disturbing place.

There is no blame only shame because I know better. I not only fell of the wagon, I got knocked in the head by the cart and run over by the wheels. Not exercising as much and consuming too much equals unhealthy living. This place and these feelings are not where I want to be. So, Susan Powter’s slogan rings true, ’Stop the insanity!’

This is the time to brush off the dirt, clean the wounds and start heading in the right direction. Well, at least I know my way around!

Be at Peace

Ouch! emoticon Here's a hand if you need one! I've fallen off the wagon enough times myself, so I feel your pain. You know what to do, now it's just doing it ... one day at a time!

You are not alone. We have all been there and done that and maybe more than we want to admit. You are already on the road to recovery, admitting it, talking about it and realizing you need a change once again. I think the battle in our minds is the biggest battle.

Great to see a post from you and if you have the time the next Teddy Bear challenge would be a great way to get motivated and keep the momentum going.

    You've been missed!!!!

Stuff happens. We've all been stuck in that insane place at one time or another. You're up and dusted off now and the wounds and bruises will heal quickly as long as you don't beat yourself up.

Welcome back Vince, you have been missed.

First step is done...Youre starting off great by admitting where you went wrong and knowing that you need to get back on board!! We are soooo glad that youre trying again and this time YOU CAN DO THIS!!!!

The best saying of all, to me, is Fall 7 times, Get Up 8! You never fail if you keep getting back up!!

Good to see you back and waving at the cart ready to climb back on and drive those roads you know. Happily there is always room on the cart path for us all.
    Welcome and bon voyage.
