Weigh-In - 9Oct11

Sunday, October 09, 2011

This will be short.

I dropped a bit this week, but with my old analog scale it is hard to tell how much, so I will just say I stayed the same. (It looked like a half pound, sort of)

I have not been doing well at getting lunches packed, but today I cleaned the refrigerator and cooked up enough to get me (and my son who is staying with me for a while) through Wednesday. Did up some split pea soup and made some salsa. There's a roast in the crockpot just about ready for supper. Veggies are somewhat of a problem, though. Not a very good selection of fresh ones locally and no room in the freezer for more. All the freezer space I have currently is what's in the top of the refrigerator. I usually have it full of orange juice that I get when it's on sale.

I did well on my water, and I've been picking up a bit on exercise.

Later...

It sounds like you had some good stuff going on. How did it all work out? Any more room in the freezer this week? :)

I try to buy in bulk when things are on sale too, but I'm not big on OJ. :) I hope you find a little freezer or have better luck at the store.
Have you made anything with squash?

I know what you mean about the analog scale. Those little lines are so close together it's a little hard to tell what the weight is exactly. I'm thinking it's time for a new one. (the one I have was a wedding gift 33+ years ago.) emoticon emoticon
