working overtime

Sunday, October 09, 2011

I didn't get off work until 8 o'clock this morning, I was supposed to get off at 6 but my coworker never showed up or even called in. I got 2 hours of overtime, then she called and said she just woke up and was on her way in. I can sure use the overtime, but she is late a lot and I know our boss is not going to be too happy.

Yesterday I walked 30 minutes in the morning, then 30 minutes in the evening, did 10 strength training exercises and even danced to the oldies for 5 minutes, in my room with the door shut. haha
It was a fun way to exercise, and they say it's really good exercise! I hope it makes up for today because I just woke up ( it's 3:30 pm) and I'm still tired. Don't know if I will get in much exercise today. I have to be back to work at 10 tonight.

Thanks everyone for all your support and encouragement on my blogs!

Since I'm home alone with MIL all day -- and she couldn't remember to tell a soul WHAT I do... I turn on the radio and dance around the livingroom! When I first started doing it I felt REALLY weird... but now I don't care... except when the UPS truck drives past on my neighbors driveway! emoticon

OH NO! I just read Becky's comment... DO NOT work sO much that you make yourself sick again! No no no! That would NOT be good! emoticon

I hope your boss appreciates your extra efforts. Overtime can be nice, but when you are already working off-hour shifts (2nd or 3rd), it can be really hard to readjust your sleep pattern. Stay healthy!

Overtime is nice, but can sure make a person tired. I worked 14 hours of extra time this past week. I hit a wall at about 3:00 today. I am tired and feel a cold coming on. Take care of yourself. emoticon
