As my goal weight date approaches, I realize I will not be where I want to be when I said -- or will I? True the "number" is not there but .... I feel great! I like the changes that I have made and I like the way I look. Some of the changes (albeit small but they do add up) are:

carefully measuring the amount of creamer I put in my coffee and recognizing that those calories add up quickly
drastically cutting down on the amount of diet soda I consume
eating breakfast everyday
eating more fruits and vegetables
drinking more water
packing my lunch everyday
weighing my food
before eating in a restaurant -- looking up calorie counts so I can make good choices
allowing myself to "fail" but not look at it as an all or nothing deal
watching my sodium intake -- no more frozen meals for me
enjoying my portion controlled ice cream treat every night

The one aspect that I really, really want to work on, but have not been that successful with is EXERCISE! It is not that I detest exercise, I do enjoy it. I have to make time for myself to go out and just do it. That is my next hurdle and I will do it.
