2 more days 'till the weigh-in

I am really excited. I just finished week 4, day 1 of my 5K Walking Challenge. If everything goes according to schedule race day will be Friday the 14th. This will be my first 5K: something I thought was an impossible task just a little over a month ago.

I have developed this love affair with my treadmill and I like it. That thing sat there for almost a year. It was used by everyone in the house when we first got it, but the novelty wore of and it became a junk collector (like most treadmills in American homes). Now, I am on it almost everyday and I love it. This is really something for me. I have lived a very non-active lifestyle all my life. Outside of having to walk between classes in school, I didn't move much. So to be able to say I have completed 826 fitness minutes in less than a month is huge.

I am super grateful to God and SparkPeople for giving me something to work toward, keeping me motivated, and giving me the tools to do this.
