Ready to get fit!

Okay, I have tried several times to lose weight and get in shape and have failed every time. Well, this time I'm scared.

About 2 weeks ago I went to the doctor because of hot flashes and heart palpitations. My blood pressure has ALWAYS been good. That was the one thing that I could always count on. Well, my blood pressure was 160/100. emoticon Not sure what is going on with that. So I started watching what I was eating and exercising some - but not enough. I feel better but still have a long way to go. I'm going to start going to the gym with my daughter tonight. So that should help.

The main thing that I think will keep me on track this time is that I have a new saying: Nothing tastes as good as being here for my family feels!!!!! emoticon

7 pounds down in a little over a week. Off to a good start - now just have to stay the course!
