Leaving Spark People :(

I am going to be leaving all you good people at Spark at least for a while. The past several months have been chaotic at best. I lost my job last year at this time and my husband lost his back in April. In August he found a job but we had to move to North Carolina. I packed up the house and moved.

One week after the move my father told me that he had Stage 2 Esophogial (sp?) cancer. I am now moving back to Florida to take care of my mom who was diagnosed with early stage Alzheimer's earlier this year.

While taking care of them I am going to try to take care of myself too but I just won't be able to come on to Spark like I should. If things go well with my dad's recovery I am hoping to start back in January.

Thanks Spark and my Spark friends for always being there!

    I was popping by to deposit another little orphan penguin, when I caught the title of your blog out a' the corner of my eye!!

    Karyn, sweet Karyn, I am more than sorry to hear this news!! You probably recall when my DH lost his job too & that was right after we packed up the house & moved from VA, to GA. I've gone through my dad having "C" & my grandma diagnosed with Alzheimer's. I know you're burden is NOT light, sweetie & you've got my thoughts & prayers with you!!
