Working out.....

Working out is not my strong point at all....so I am trying to figure out what I can do to get myself motivated. I have joined a gym, and I have been going 3 times a week, but am I doing the right things? I don't have knowledge in this field.

Yesterday I had an appointment with a personal trainer....and I learned a lot! It's going to be a lot harder then I ever imagined, because how I thought I should lose weigh, wasn't the right way. I was going to lose it wrong, and then what? I would do all this hard work to get where I wanna be, yet......I did it all wrong, so inside I'm STILL unhealthy! That is not what I want.

I want to keep seeing this trainer so he can help me stay on the track that I need to be on. He gave me a very reasonable price per week.....but it's coming up with the initial fee that is hard for me! I'm trying to work things out so I can do it, but goodness they milk some money out of you, ya know?

I think this would be a really good way to make sure I stay on track, exercise the way I need to, not only to lose weight but to get and stay healthy. I just learned so much that I had no idea about. I think we all need to be educated on what we need to do, and not just guess.....we could be doing things wrong and harming ourselves instead of helping....

You can also get educated here on SP. They have TONS of articles not to mention that you can probably email Coach Nicole with questions or go to the Bulletins for support. They have forums for all sorts of things. You have to remember this is not a diet, it needs to be a lifestyle change for long term results. Eat healthier, exercise more, portion control, drink your water, stay away from the bad stuff. Do not deprive yourself just smaller portions and make it less frequently. If you walk start by walking, walking and walking. I recommend a pedometer and aim for the 10,000 steps a day to start. I recently bought one that I researched and found very reasonable at Amazon and reviews were great. Better than a couple I had bought before. I wear it all day long even at work and just started doing the Courtney Pace in my office.
