Going to try to eating smart and walking strong...

Monday, October 03, 2011

--Well, my latest attempt to improve my eating habits is to try L. Sansone's plan in "Eat Smart, Walk Strong". I like her "walk, walk, walk" tapes (even though when she says that I see fleeting images of chickens in my head "buck, buck, buck") and her ideas and changing eating habits seem to make sense to me. Hopefully, this will get rid of my bad habits and instill some better ones. We'll see.
--Pet update....new cat in the neighborhood causing a fluffing up in Mr. Cleese. I of course, knowing better, tried to bring in Mr. Cleese to save him from more scars and I was bitten and scratched. (Just a little, though.) The new cat looks a lot larger than Mr. Cleese. I need to go shopping for Peanut. He said he wants to dress up for Halloween and he's tired of the Lion outfit we've used that last several years.
--Other stuff... had a nice walk on the riverside with hubby on Sunday, desk is still a mess, got carried away and drank 1/2 bottle of Merlot last night (oops!), have to cut the grass this afternoon.
------------- Have a wonderful Monday! ------------------------------

Good luck with your new plans. I, too, will be awaiting a report.

Strays can really upset the "apple cart!" We get them around our house (dogs and cats). Our little Baron thinks he is a Great Dane when in fact he is a Daschund. We have got to where we can't let him out front by himself.

Hope you have a great day!

Went for my first walk today, and as I did, my orthotics in my shoes kept going quack, quack, quack, and all I could think of was you going buck, buck, buck. We're a fine pair of barnyard fowl. emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

    Have a great day.

Haven't seen Leslie Sansone's "Eat Smart, Walk Strong" so I'll wait for your report on it.
Disregarding the scratches - sounds like you had a good weekend and ended up with a positive attitude. (the Merlot maybe).
