    In '58 I finished 6th grade and my sister graduated from high school. We didn't have tv or a phone. We lived on a farm with calves, chickens, dogs cats, large garden and lots of chores. I had a hula hoop, no Barbie, but learned the cha cha. Great times.

    Wow you really brought back great memories. I had the first Barbie with the black and white striped bathing suit and the blond pony tail. I sold her when I was in 6th grade for $12 dollars to buy a ukelele that all my friends were playing.
