I tried zumba! My spell checker keeps autocorrecting it to 'rumba.'
I joined the fitness society that my employer offers, and there are drop-in classes included. I rode my bike there on my lunch break! It was SO FUN! The teacher was this crazy, smiling little ball of energy, and she ran around high-fiving us all when we'd finish a song!
I'm going to go every week, and next I'll try Pilates. I've had this strange, unfounded fear of Pilates for a while now, but my friend and co-worker will come with me….
And the fitness membership comes with a free session with a trainer, so I'll use it to design a strength training program!
Today I freaked out because I was entering my food for the day in the tracker and when I glanced at the total, it was WAY higher than I expected. Then I saw that I'd accidentally entered 2 cups of coffee cream, instead of 2 cups of coffee! I've been tracking for just over four months, and now I can just generally guess how many calories I've eaten in a day…but I'll still keep tracking.
I'll keep on eating healthily and trying new exercises and staying active and guess what! My body will keep changing!! It's a-freaking-mazing! Unbe-freaking-leivable! Fan-freaking-tastic!
This morning I was dancing while I washed the dishes (yes, really), and I really was shaking it, and my belly was jiggling all around. Then I imagined what it will feel like when my big old belly is gone. It was like I could actually feel it gone. I have a vision of where I'm going, and it's so clear and real that it's easy to keep moving towards it.
