Starting all over isn't so bad.

Well, it's been a week now. I'm back to the gym regularly. Got my cardio routine set and put some weights back in there this week. I'm hoping small changes will stick much better than just trying to change it all at once. I don't like the slow process. I want instant gratification. Don't we all?

I'm a bit more aware of what I eat. Some good, some not so good. At least back to working out I can burn more calories and hope not to gain any more weight. I'm sore from the weight workouts, it's a good sore. A feeling that I've missed. I'm stretching a lot more too. That helps with the knee pain and back pain. I've suffered so over the summer with back pain. I know it's my muscles tightening up in my hamstrings from lack of use and pulling on my lower back. I've been stretching everything out after my workouts and before bed when I watch TV. That keeps me from snacking too. My back feels so much better already. Not perfect, but much better.

I know I did this to myself over 3 months, so it will take 3 months to get back to feeling good, routine, and eating better. Then I hope to see some weight go away. I'm happy to wake up hungry in the morning instead of still full from the night before.

I just want to know, what the heck was I thinking this summer?? I vow never to be that lazy ever again for that long of a time.
