Ready or not, here comes October...

Thursday, September 29, 2011

September was pretty much a stale mate for me, but I'm feeling great at the end and looking forward to October! May as well lay out my goals now.

~ Lose 5 lbs
~ Workout 26 out of 31 days (very ambitious!!)
~ Now that the half marathon is over, I would like to get in at least 2 long runs of 8-10 miles
~ Limit the caffeine to 3x per week. For some reason, I'm having a hard time with this one. I'm off again on again and I've been on again for a few weeks...
~ Stick to my calorie range 1400-1800 per day
~ Continue to ST 3x per week
~ Put up some good numbers in my 5% challenge weigh-ins

Happy Fall everyone!!!

Great goals! The caffeine...I can understand that...I can't do it actually..I have 1 cup of coffee in the a.m....then it's water, water...I figure, I've got to live within something I can truly do for a lifetime... emoticon

That is great goal setting. I am not real sure what your reasoning is for cutting back on your caffeine intake- perhaps just healthy living?? but I don't think that in moderate amounts that caffeine is harmful to you. I wish you success though if you want to eliminate it from your diet.
Good luck in reaching all your goals for October. I know you can do it!!
