Oh yeah baby it was as good as it could be. Went hiking up to a local landmark and the mountain kicked my butt up and down the trail. It took it all out of me getting up to the top and then getting back down was easier but just as hard. At the top my fingers turned into sausages thanks to how hard we were pushing and the elevation. 900ft above sea level and I was toast thanks to my lungs still not being over the cold my kids brought home from school. I pushed through because I'm tough like that. If I set a goal and I know I can reach it, I will, even if I get there ten minutes after your butt. Because I'm going to keep on trying even if I fall on my butt. Falling down is the easy part, getting up and doing it again and again is the tough stuff. I did not sign up for easy. Easy would have been sitting on my butt at home while they went out and had fun without me. Now who wants to miss out on all the fun and reward of a cheeseburger and hot fudge sundae? Not me! besides I earned it! I burned 1100 calories going on that hike I think I earned the burger.
