Today is a beautiful day! The sun is shining, birds are singing, windows are open, and I am heavily cleaning the house today. The laundry is done and I am enjoying myself this afternoon.

Early this evening, I will complete my 5K practice. In two weeks, I do my first 5K. I will not do as well as I hoped because I had a bad attack of diverticulitis and just now recuperating from it. My goal is to be done in 45 minutes. I do not really run - it is more of a jog. At least I am out there doing it.

I have had to take it easy on spices and softer foods recently but still keeping up my protein.

Started th 5% challenge this Saturday and I am really trying to focus on it. I want to be below 160 before November - and really 155 even though the goal is 157. That would be down 10 lbs. I can do this!

Some call us woggers, some call us penguins (because we waddle). It all works. Great job!!

I had to laugh at the term "wogger" that Hammlin used! I can't even do that - and I'm a slow walker! I want one of the shirts too!
Glad you're feeling better and getting ready for the 5K.

From one "wogger" to another great job getting out there.
There's a shirt I saw that I think we both need that says "I'm slow, I know. Get over it."
    Way to go!!!
