Mama NEVER told me there'd be days like this!

My mom never told my how hard it was to parent adult kids!

There's always the "do I say something or do I keep quiet?" debate... all the time!

My daughter has been in crisis mode on and off since 2005... sigh.... A phone call from her is always approached with trepidation, and usually a "are you okay?" There's probably a 50/50 chance of her life falling apart. Tonight, again, is one of the nights.. actually the call came yesterday... or was it a text?... tonight is the playing out of the call yesterday.

Probably worse than that is knowing that she's facebooking on her smart phone while she's driving!!!!
I'd yell at her, but texting her just means that she'd still be texting while driving!!!

I've caught myself staring at little children, and wonder what they will be like when they're adults... what could we, as parents, have done differently to bring about a different result? ah yes, the what if's... that aren't really productive.

ANYWAY...

okay - I'm not real focused tonight... we're watching the Yogi Bear movie for the first time... Yogi and I have the same perspective... "Be sure to take (the photos) from a flattering perspective! It's those picnic baskets! A moment on the tastebuds, a lifetime on the hips!" (ok - confession, those are probably not the exact words, but it's close enough to get the idea!)

I'm rambling... so... I'll say goodnight!
