Still Undecided...

Saturday, September 24, 2011

Hmmmm... I'm still undecided about whether to return to Weight Watchers or not. I HAD decided to join again, and tried to go to the local meeting earlier this week ... but when I got there it turned out that the time had been changed to an earlier start time, so everyone was leaving as I got there, lol. I was then planning to join next week ... but then I keep reading positive stories on Spark from people who have had great success through SparkPeople alone. So that makes me wonder if I need Spark AND Weight Watchers ... and Spark is free... lol. I'm debating about giving my healthy lifestyle changes another try through Spark alone ... and save the cost of WW ... I know if I really used the Spark tools consistently, and applied myself to healthy habits, I could do it. It's just getting past that "I'll start again next week" mentality.

Thanks for reading these ramblings... Have a great and healthy day, everyone! emoticon emoticon emoticon

    Sheila,
I think you have to do what works for you. If you need the outside support, great. Myself, I am in a diabetes prevention program and I use SP. I find the two compliment each other. I would say now that I am in monthly classes I rely more on SP. It is my daily way to track my goals, food and fitness. It gives me instant results. And yes, it is free!! That is a big bonus! I also started reading The Spark. I am really enjoying it. Have you read it?? Maybe a new commitment to SP and getting The Spark would help you. Just saying!!

I SAY IF YOU CAN GET OUT AND BE WITH PEOPLE IT HELPS. I'M DISABLE AND HAVE TO USE SPARK. I'D GET OUT IF I COULD FOR SURE.
