Okaysy, Here is my tip on moursterizing. ( a man told me they do this, and that it works well )
Put liquid based one like skin so soft in the shower and use it before you dry off. Your body will suck it in. lol
I do my face and neck once in a while, and my feet but not too much the rest.

I hate waiting for the moisturizer to soak in, BUT, I love when I have taken the time.

I don't moisturize my face after my showers either. I really need to as my skin feels tight. Thank you for reminding me on this. I've thought about it before, but always forget. I'll try and remember to do it tomorrow after I shower. I'll put a sticky note up, lol.

I am not able to view your blog yet but wanted to say that your diet should already be helping your skin. I've noticed a huge difference since eliminating a lot of processed stuff. My skin is not as dry as it used to be. I do think staying hydrated and avoiding caffeine helps too. I use Bert's Bee day radiance as a face moisturizer and then use a natural moisturizer as needed for the rest of my body. My doctor told me a long time ago to look for moisturizers with Urea in them to alleviate dry skin. It really made a difference. Good luck!
