water

I'm learning that I do better at drinking my water if I'm home, with a 2 qt pitcher of water beside me, and I work my way through it in the course of the day. A good day is when I refill the pitcher and keep working through at least half of it again.
Well - last week, I hardly got any water in... (less than 2 cups all week) It was hectic and I was away from home most of the time... For me, it's difficult drinking water... I don't like it, I'm not magnetized toward it in any way. I'm noticing, too, that with the cooler weather, it's harder to want to drink water...
Anyway - I finally am getting it in again today! 8 cups!
So - after a lifetime of people telling me to drink water, I finally met a dr who says I don't have to drink water. She's not my regular dr, and since I lost weight when I drank more water... I'll keep working on drinking water.
Now - my cats on the other hand... they think it's great that I'm drinking water - in fact, they try to drink out of my glass! It doesn't matter at all that there is a large metal pan of water on a rubber pad (my hubby's cat tends to pull the water off the counter, thus all the precautions) for them to drink out of anytime they want.. and it's kept fresh!
NO.... they don't want THAT water... they want mine... so I have a small custard bowl that I keep near me. When they hear me pour my water they jump up expecting some... so I pour them some, too. This has not made my hubby happy - because how we're situated causes the cat's behind up front and personal for him... so, we continue to adjust it.. and I have to keep a close eye on Runt so he doesn't knock it over...
Hmmm... hubby says they're spoiled.... hmmmm LOL
