What have you always wanted to dress up as, but haven't had toe nerve or never could find the costume in your size? What's the costume of your dreams? What steps are you taking to make sure that dream becomes reality?

I don't have a specific costume that I have always wanted to dress up as. Fortunately, my favorite, a vampiress, comes in plus sizes. I did go to Torrid (a fashionable plus size specialty store) on Friday, and every single costume was made into a short skirt above the knee! This really sucks for me because my legs are very fat. Some people are blessed and still have nice legs, even when they are overweight. I am not one of those people. In fact, I noted that I had cellulite at the age of 9! I hope to be able to look good in a skirt above the knee in the next year or two, but for now I have to cover up. But seriously, shouldn't a plus size store of all retailers understand and provide full length costumes as well? Sigh. So the steps I am taking to be able to wear the short sexy costume is:
1)drinking lots of water
2)reducing calorie intake
3)working out consistently
4)dancing my way to a lean dancer's body

Nutrition challenge: try 2 new meals under 500 calories
So far, I tried mushroom raviolis, I could eat it without throwing up, but I wouldn't voluntarily make this dish, lol!

Social challenge: give 2 goodies out and tell them why .... complete!

the torrid costumes do look incredibly short and you're right they should have longer costumes!

No, but I'd like to try Zumba soon! I dance hustle, a type of ballroom dance :o)

Torrid has awesome dresses...but they're really lacking in costumes.

Torrid has been my store for the past five years. But I have been getting upset with them lately with their selection of clothes. They just don't seem as unique as they used to be, the clothes that is, and I did notice that all their costumes are pretty much the same dress but different colors and accessories. I may have to find a new place to shop. Sob.

Your goals sound awesome!! You totally got this!!!
