Getting ready for the Fall 5% Challenge!

The Fall 5% Challenge starts on Saturday, September 24, less than a week away. We have pre-challenge assignments and this is the 3rd. I redid my sparkpage to get ready and reflect what I want to accomplish in the Challenge. Also, I'm the Motivation Leader for the Teddy Bear team so I want to be able to help others do well in the Challenge.

Today's assignment is to list all the reasons you want to lose weight. I've been on SP for 8 1/2 months and have already lost 47 lbs. I have 14 more or so to lose. If I'm able to lose the 5% that will be 7 lbs. or half of what I have left to get to goal. However, my focus is to get in shape and be really fit rather than to weigh a particular amount.

What do you want to change? I want to continue to eat healthy and workout a lot. I'd like to resist temptations a bit more often. I want to be able to wear the size 4/6 clothes in my closet from when I was at goal at WW's 8 years ago.

How do you want to look? I want to look awesome and firm, in great shape.

How do you want to feel? I want to feel strong and healthy.

What things will you be able to do in the future with a slimmer healthier body? I just finished the 5k Your Way Rookie Running Program (which I highly recommend) and did a 5k on the treadmill. I want to be able to comfortably run "real" 5ks (my 1st one is on the morning this Fall Challenge starts, a 5k for Hunger). Then I want to work up to 10ks, a half marathon and finally a full marathon (this is in time, not in the 8 weeks of this Challenge LOL!)

And list all the OTHER things that you want to change! I want to stay in calorie range 90% of the time and push myself to exercise for at least 30 minutes for all 56 days of this Challenge.
