Okay, this one really, really applies to me. I need to change some of my eating habits. If I keep doing the same things I'm going to get the same results, right? This is a real hard one for me as I am such a FOODIE! emoticon Ugh....I need to get some of the fats out of my diet. My pie graph is not agreeing with the nutritional guidance. emoticon I am always over my fat percent and low on my carbs.... On the upside, I am pretty much dead on with the protein (always a silver lining...).

Hopefully if I can get on track with more veggies it will push some of the other fatty foods (meats, chips....etc.) out of my plate!

    Love the quote. Keep the meat and lose the chips unless they are kale chips. I dehydrated some kale which I sprayed with a little Pam and sprinkled with a bit of seasoning to eat. They do not take the place of a potato chip and I do not eat many although I could "afford" it on my tracker if I wanted.

    Love the quote! It's simple and true. We all know it. But for some reason, reading it in those specific words makes it real all over again. I don't know about you, but I seem to need a constant reminder.

    I like that quote. It's very similar to what I've been telling people when they say I'm crazy for doing a boot camp or restricting my diet. . . my response "what's the alternative? if I don't change what I've been doing, I'll keep heading the opposite direction of where I want to be." Even when it's a challenge, I keep myself on track by asking "what's the alternative?"

    Hi Skeetor,

    Great quote! My suggestion to you would be to figure out which veggies suit you best. If you're not a big fan of vegetables, try a large variety to figure out what you do like. If the problem is time, go with something that's quick and easy, and that you can eat on its own. Perhaps my favorite snack is baby carrots, because they're awesome alone, they stay fresh for a long time, they take no time to prepare (just open the bag & enjoy!), and I can keep a bag of them at my desk all day just in case I need a quick snack.
