My less than successful week...so far.

Thursday, September 15, 2011

Saturday: I got together with my sisters for a scrabblefest (1 part scrabble + 6 parts junk food) I made the mistake of not bringing my own snacks- oh we also went for chinese with our spouses beforehand.
Sunday: (the only success for the day was walking with fellow Akron Sparklers)dinner @ my parents with the whole clan baking and cooking.
Monday: no sleep = poor, poor choices. (walked 3 miles)
Tuesday :Ditto (did mow my hilly yard tho)
Yesterday (Weds) migraine
and now I am still trying to recover and am unable to regain my resolve that I had before Saturday. UGH
We will get there though.

It actually sounds as if you got a lot of walking in, which is awesome!

Having fun with friends and family usually involves food. It is hard to resist, You did well though by exercising. I have problems with those temptations too.

You have done well, you moved quite a bit. It's the journey, and some days, it is an easy climb, sometimes, it is peaks and valleys and sometimes we go up when we should go down, but in the end, we really are glad that we had our experiences, for the strength, the love and the victory. Have a great day. emoticon

Look at the POSITIVES this week! You had activity almost everyday, you have had a fun week with family and friends. NOW stop beating yourself up (words that many fellow spark friends have said to me more than once!) and start fresh on Friday...Fresh Friday-sounds like a slogan :). Just remember, you are doing this because you WANT to-no one is making you do ANYTHING! once I committed to the idea that this is my choice, it has not been as hard to make better (not perfect, just better) choices...spark on-we got this!
