    Hi Melly:
I really feel for you. You work so hard at everything you do.
Big hugs go out to you from me. I think it is so great what you are doing in school and with your eating plan. We are all behind you no matter what that grade is. emoticon

I am so sorry about the C+! I can sense your frustration and am sending you big hugs.

Just try to remember that grades ARE subjective. In fact, a C+ at your college is the same as an A+ at other institutions of higher learning. emoticon

Did you try your best? Did you get something out of the assignment? That is what college is about. It's not about the grades, it's about putting your critical thinking skills to work and learning how to learn. If you put your best effort forward, then be proud of that C+! It is a very respectable grade. Plus, a lot of college is simply trying to figure out what the professor wants. Some professors are more difficult than others in that regard. You can spend an entire semester in a foggy "what does this guy want?!" haze.

College is so much like our journey here on Spark. There are numerous ways to measure success. One grade in one class is just ONE measure (just like one weigh in on one day is one measure). The bigger picture is that you are in this for the long haul and you are doing fantastic. College should push you just like our Spark journeys have pushed us into places that are sometime uncomfortable. Some of the best learning takes place when you are uncomfortable!

I am so impressed with your drive and dedication. That is going to carry you through the ups and downs of college life. You are doing incredible Melly. Don't forget that! YOU are doing the work. YOU are hitting the ball out of the park every day you go to class, do your homework and manage your life on top of it all. Carry on, friend!

    Hi Melly,
Sorry you got a less than perfect grade....
    But.
If you already knew it, it wouldnt be school. And as you said, the classes with intangibles are harder to figure, and more open to grading on the teachers whim.
It doesnt reflect on all your accomplishments in school, and in being in school to begin with.
