On the right track...

Thursday, September 15, 2011

I've been sitting here thinking of all the "tracks" that I could be on and so thankful that I'm on the right track. Remembering the struggles all the way back to middle school and now knowing that I'm equipped with the knowledge that has changed those struggles into triumphs.

I still can't believe that I've been with Spark for almost five years and I love reflecting on the changes that I have been able to implement, not only for me, but for my family as well. I guess time really does fly. :)

Now that school is back in full swing and this mom has gotten her feet under her again... :)... I am focusing on fitness a little bit more. For some reason, summer time is the hardest for me because we are never home. I guess I did get fitness in with the yard work and we loved being outside, but now that it's getting cooler and it's getting darker earlier, I'm more apt to workout. So, I've dusted off my running shoes and am out the door.... smiling all the way. I didn't realize how much I've missed it.

I hope everyone has a SUPER, BLESSED day!!! (((HUGS TO ALL)))

You're definitely on the right track. Simply because the track that makes a person happy and this happiness reflects to anyone around, can only be the right track!
I'm glad you're getting your workouts again. I believe that fall and winter make us a little bit more organised and they help with commitment also. Summer is the time to be carefree after all.
It was good to hear from you!
    Have a wonderful weekend!

Love your words of how you've learned to work through your struggles...there you go inspiring me again!!! Yes, summer was hard for me to stay on track when it came to "exercise". We were so busy with fun summer stuff, but we're back to it now so "a season for everything".
    Take Care. Keep Sparking.

    Tambi,

Great to hear of your resolve.

I couldn't help but think of I Cor 9:24 when reading your blog:

Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize. Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training. They do it to get a crown that will not last; but we do it to get a crown that will last forever.

May your training bring blessing and rewards both here and now and the future to come!
