Back to Weight Watchers, I think.

Thursday, September 15, 2011

Well, I'm strongly considering re-joining Weight Watchers, to help me with the area of accountability. I lost 15 lbs. before with WW, and got to what was a really good weight for me at that time. Eating within the points system also led me to make healthy food choices a good part of the time.

I thought that my local meeting was tomorrow, but just looked it up and found that it's on Tuesdays. So if I start it will be next week. I think it might be the best option right now, as I just haven't been consistent at all with the self-imposed 'healthy diet' goal. Maybe it's at least in part because things are pretty stressful right now. But there's nothing like knowing that you need to stand on that scale every week and have that number written into the little book ... and it's so rewarding to see a number smaller than last week's!

I'll re-post next week to let you know if I proceeded with this idea... emoticon

I think that's a great idea. We're all at different places and need different things to help us stay on track.
Let us know how it goes. :)

I know WW really helped me at one time in the past. I am finding that my Diabetes Prevention Program and SP are keeping me in line this time. I hope you will do what is best for you!! Take care of yourself. I know it is hard to be accountable sometimes!! Angie emoticon

I'm sorry you've been having such a hard time of it, and hope that if you decide to go back to WW that you will again be successful.

I'm in with you. I was thinking the same thing because I've been at a standstill. Even though I still my membership, I haven't gone to the meeting because I just kinda went on a vacation but think it's time to be accountable for what I'm eating. Let's do it!! Track religously and honestly, move the body and eat a lot of filling foods! emoticon emoticon emoticon
