Fight the Good Fight

I am still here.......not doing as well as I had hoped by now. But I did attend my first weight lifting class last night. I got in a good sweat, I kinda like it cause it was a challenge.

Today it was threatening rain out, so me and my walking partner went to the mall to do our regular laps....OMG there were sales all over the place and I love a good bargain. Needless to say, we did not get all our laps in, (bad,bad slap on the wrists). So tonight after I get home from Bible Study I'll have to make it up. Not feeling though.

Trying to lose this lethargic feeling I've had lately. Not sure why, but I cannot get myself back on track. Not giving up though.

Worst thing is, my scale has been broken, really, I have been faithfully weighing in and it has been saying 162# - 163# which is bad enough, but I decided to weigh in elsewhere and I was 166# !!!! emoticon
I immediately went out and bought a new scale which confirmed my fears, I am 166# consistently! YUCK! Too much sugar over the last few months. Yep, I know what the problem is. Not living the plan, for maintenance. Ugh!

So...I am wearing all my size 8 clothes which are now pinching, to punish myself and knock some sense into my head. Right now these jeans are getting on my last nerve! Seriously though, I'll keep at it till I get it right...that's all I know.

    you will get it straight girl! You already know what the reasons for the change are, and you are "willing" your habits back to "good"! sometimes we have to make ourselves do it, even when we don't feel it I am over my goal weight by a few lbs too, and I am working back to where I need to be. It's a struggle! But, we are worth it!

    Well I think you're doing great!! You've realized how you're feeling and why your clothes are pinching you and you're doing something about it!! Now, if you weren't doing anything about it then you would really have a problem!!! emoticon And your scale tells you less then my scale tells me!! So, don't give up..keep pushing!! emoticon emoticon
