Doing a happy dance!

Thursday, March 01, 2007

Tuesday I stopped at one of my favorite clothing stores on the way home from work. I bought a size smaller pants than what I had been wearing (wearing a 14 - bought a 12). I wore them to work on Wednesday and received lots of compliments on them. But they are too big too! I didn't even try them on in the store, because I figured I was in a size 12. I felt so good all day.

That evening I went to the gym and did a work out with my trainer. We weighed in and I had lost 6 pounds in 3 weeks. Second happy dance.

My trainer has also asked me (several times) to write a "Success Story" testimonial that they can put up on the wall at the gym. I told him I would, but just haven't finished it yet. I told him last night I was working on it, and he told me he wants to give a copy of it to his mother (who lives 6 hours away) to motivate her to exercise. I took that as a compliment because his mother and I are the same age (I found out). That too made me feel good. Here is someone he cares very much about and he wants me to motivate her. He's been good to and for me so I will try to write something that speaks to her. Wednesday was a good day!
