SENSA versus "Cook Yourself Thin" diet challenge

Monday, September 12, 2011

As everyone knows, there is no shortage of weight loss products and gimmick diets out here. But which is best at producing long lasting healthful results. I have to admit I gave in to the SENSA hype. Hey, it was a free trial. I paid the shipping and it is finally here. This product supposedly turns on the receptors in the brain that tell you that you are full. I have mixed emotions about this...Sounds like just another appetite suppressant, and we all know how that works out. The minute you stop taking it you balloon right back up. And it is very likely I will stop taking it because the cost of maintenance is over $80 per month. That's very steep for an unemployed college student. Its free until the 30th of this month. I doubt that I will maintain the service after that.

Now, I am not fat because I dislike food (Duh!) so I want a solution that allows me to eat good food and still lose weight. This may sound unreasonable but, I have been looking at this "Cook Yourself Thin" program on the Lifetime Real Women network and I have to say everything that they make looks really appetizing. There aren't any outrageously exotic ingredients and all the substitutions they make look doable. I may have to give this a try. Since my SENSA trial is up on the 30th I intend to get some of the "Cook Yourself Thin" recipes from the website before investing in the cookbook. I'll let everyone know how it goes.

The proof will be in the weight loss numbers and my likely hood to stick to either "program".
