Our ER trip this weekend- It's a good laugh for Monday morning.

Boys- What are they thinking? Hubby and I are watching a movie Friday night while the kids are getting ready for bed. Next thing we know, 12 year old son comes downstairs with this horrible (but hilarious) look on his face and says "Don't kill me." Now I knew he'd been in the bathroom getting ready for bed, and he was obviously whole and hardy, so I'm thinking he dropped something in the toilet.
No, no, no- He swallowed a metal ball about the size of a marble! The scarey part was that he was in his room alone at the time and almost choked on it. I won't go into all the details. We all know boys are in a world all their own.
Needless to say we made a quick trip to the ER. X-rays showed the ball already in his small intestines. Now we wait. emoticon

There's been a lot of jokes flying his way this weekend, but he seems to be doing fine.

Enjoy the chuckle,
Roxanne

No one! The ER doc suggested we revisit Colin's pediatrician at the end of this week for a follow up Xray to see that it has passed. So I'll take Door B, thank you! We have been calling him "the Duke" this weekend. He's not flattered! :)

Ok, I have to ask. Who is doing the search to see if it gets passed? emoticon
