Well, I did it.. I just signed up and paid to do a half marathon (13 miles). I can remember being winded when the bus driver wanted to talk to me and running down the driveway to see what she wanted. Then I remember going on walks with the kids and they always going to fast for me and having to take breaks. I then remember finally taking up running and being amazed at myself for doing an entire mile without stopping and emailing a friend of mine because I thought it was such a huge thing. Then I remember running to a little green house and feeling like it was the other side of the earth (it was really a mile and a half). Anyway.. it's all these small milestones that keep adding up that really make a difference in the long run. I just wanted to share this... so that when you come upon a "milestone" that you realize how important every single one of them is. How they can add up to you doing things you NEVER thought possible!
