It's Good to Look Back

Ok -- I have not been tracking, I have been eating some very questionable foods and I have not had the courage to get on the scale. So, I said to my self -- get on that scale and lets get back to business. I only had 7 pounds to go to reach my scale. I worked up my nerve and got on that scale and to my relief I have not gained any weight -- despite the fact that I have not exercised for 5 days and have gone on a semi-eating binge. I say semi because in the back of my mind I always had healthy meals but had trouble with the in between part. It used to be a morning to night eating frenzy with no thought in mind. Now knowing that I have not done any damage but having stayed the same it is time to move forward. My first step was to look back and see what I was doing that made me successful. I review one week of meals and noticed that I drank, at a minimum, 8 glasses of water. I also noticed that I ate three solid meals. Not just a couple of rice cakes with one piece of laughing cow cheese at 10:00. I have already been awake since 5 AM! Note to self -- eat breakfast everyday BEFORE work. I have my sights on my goals, I am refocused and I will succeed!!!
