My Ultimate Playlist...

A segment on the radio last week spoke of how we react to music physiologically. Apparently, if you are trying to relax and calm yourself then the best type of music to listen to is Reggae - since the number of beats per minute match that of a rested heart. So your heart will naturally slow to come in tune with the music. Good to know for cool-downs!!! So the same must be true of increasing your heart rate... What music works for you though? Is there a song that you can just feel? That just gets you pumped? That you always listen to to start your workout? Or that helps you keep pace?

I'm going to start and keep a tab here of my favourite songs to listen to while working out... My ultimate playlist... I'm hoping to continue adding to this list, and then tweak them into perhaps more than one playlist to keep it from getting boring and to be in just the right order to keep me going... Please feel free to comment with song suggestions!
