--The finger is better (I had to show it a couple of times, especially after he shook his head at me when I told him how I did it..). He's threatened several times to take my nice sharp knives away from me. He gave them to me for Christmas a couple years back and since then, a lot of blood has been shed (don't worry, only mine!). The food processor he gave me was what really worried me... those fast spinning blades! So far, no accidents...
--I made a new recipe last night from a cookbook I picked up at Ollie's (discount leftover store). "Senate Bean Soup" (dried Navy beans, hamhock, onion, s&p). It was pretty good. Tonight I think I'll try the meatloaf recipe in the book.
--I like shopping at Ollie's...I found a Berlitz Italian CD (I'm a language fanatic) that was originally 90 dollars for 6 dollars. I'd love it though if we had a Half-Price bookstore here. I get a lot of books from there when I go to visit family in Ohio.
--Sorry my blog is not very exciting....I lead a rather dull life I'm afraid. I think I shall sign-off for a bit and do a little "Walk, walk" with L. Sansone (it's too muggy to walk outside right now...ick!)

I love, love, love Ollie's! We find such good deals there. Do you ever go to the Recycle Reader? I know the books aren't new but they are good and cheap.. I like the fact you can take them back if you want and they will give you credit to use on your next ones.

I was sooo glad that I had "Leslie" to walk with when it was so horribly hot out. The last few days, I got out early and it was nice. Glad your finger is better!
