Surgery Update

Wednesday, September 07, 2011

I just wanted to update you all on how my surgery went today. Obviously...I am home and alive...which is definitely a positive thing, lol. I had a lot of issues with pain management after the surgery. In fact, I am still having issues as they did not prescribe me anything for pain. So I am takiing obscene amounts of Ibuprofen at hospital's advice. I will see how bad the pain is tomorrow and call my doctor and see if something cannot be called in for me. The bad part of all of this is my BLC17 starts tomorrow with our first competition...and I cannot help my team. I have made them aware; however, I still feel badly that I cannot help my teammates this week...the first week of competition. But look out...cuz when I feel better...those other teams will be in for a run for their money...so to speak, lol.

Hey lady! I am sorry I havent stopped by to check how you have been, but what kind of surgery did you have? I am glad it went well and I am hoping the pain has subsided some since you have gotten home.

Wow! I can't believe they gave you NOTHING. They gave me Darvocet, which worked wonderfully. I was active at work the next day.
