Week one down! The good, the bad, and the snotty.

Week one is complete. I thought I would take the time in this blog to highlight the good and bad of this week.

The good:

The evil scale says I am down 2.4 pounds this week. I am not relying too heavily on this, but it is still nice to see.
I stayed on plan every day, with the exception of a bite of hubby's birthday cake yesterday. I am grateful I stopped at a bite!
I got in every workout.



The bad:

I need to drink more water every day. I did well on MOST days. I need to do better with water EVERY day.
I could be more active, but my body is adjusting.

The snotty:
I am catching a cold. I was feeling run down on Saturday and Sunday, by Monday, my head hurt and my nose is running like a faucet. My chest is a little tight too, and being that I have asthma, I just have to be extra careful. I have taken a ton of vitamin C in addition to my multivitamin. I am thinking that all this change to my body has left me a bit susceptible to getting sick. I will get over it...

So in summary, a pretty good week. I do ok with eating as long as the food is readily available. Batch cooking is the key for me to be successful. Well, that, and eating every 3 hours.

    emoticon on the 2.4 lb loss! I am losing weight also. This challenge works! You have alot of willpower stopping at one bite of birthday cake...........not sure I could do it. Sounds like a great week overall! emoticon Hope your cold doesnt stick around for long.

    THE MORE FRUITS AND VEGETABLES YOU EAT THAT ARE HIGH WATER CONTENT YOUR BODY IS BEING HYDRATED MORE NATURALLY AND YOU`LL FIND YOU DON`T CRAVE OR NEED TO DRINK AS MUCH WATER AS YOU THINK YOU DO!

    EVERY MORNING I TAKE AND GET CREATIVE WITH MINE AND ADD AN OUNCE OF SEEDS AND NUTS, AND A LITTLE RASPBERRY FLAVOURED VINAIGRETTE DRESSING. I MAKE UP A HUGE BOWL THAT LASTS ME ALL DAY AND EVERY TIME MY BODY TELLS ME I NEED TO EAT THAT`S WHAT I HEAD FOR UP UNTIL DINNER TIME WHEN I ADD A SERVING OF NICE HOT GREEN BEANS OR, BROCCOLI, CAULIFLOWER, ASPARAGUS, BRUSSEL SPROUTS,
    AND HOW MUCH WATER DO I DRINK THROUGHOUT THE DAY....ONE 8-10 OUNCE GLASS JUST BEFORE MY MAIN MEALS AND ANY OTHER TIME I FEEL THIRSTY. THAT`S IT. NO MORE NO LESS.
    AND IT`S ADEQUATE BECAUSE I HAVE TO RUN TO THE LITTLE LADIES ROOM SEVERAL TIMES THROUGHOUT THE DAY.
    SO TRY THAT FOR YOUR SECOND AND THIRD WEEKS AND SEE IF IT WORKS FOR YOU.
    OH AND THE BENEFITS...HIGH DENSITY FOODS THAT KEEP YOU FULLER LONGER AND YOU JUST MIGHT LOSE 3-4 POUNDS!
