Half marathon Day 16

Today is officially a rest day for running. But my 2 mile easy run from yesterday just never got done - what with all the laundry, cleaning, shopping and then a movie out. So I got up at 4 am today to get my 2 miles in before spinning class.

It was a nice easy run. It helped a lot that it was fairly cool (I'd guess in the mid 70's or so.) The humidity was pretty high but there was a little breeze so it wasn't horrible. I ran at a nice even 10 minute mile pace. It was very comfortable.

On tap for tomorrow is my mid week tempo run. Here's hoping it goes better than the speedwork from last week

Note: run was in old shoes
