I had an "AHA" moment today. This is probably old hat to the rest of you, but it finally clicked for me. Anyone who has been on my page lately knows that I now have an arm bike. Its too big to sit in my living room so I have it in my kitchen.

Today I started a new "rule" for me for my kitchen.....everytime I go in there to get food I have to do a few mins on the bike.

If I am heating something in the microwave I "bike" for that amount of time, if Im getting something to drink I do at least 2 minutes on the bike. This way I am "sneaking" more evercise into my day! If I dont feel like biking, I have to think if I really want the food I was going in there for! I started this today, but am planning on keeping my "new rule" for ever.

Does anyone else have any ideas about sneaking exercise in?

Thanks for "listening" or reading my emoticon emoticon

That's a fantastic idea! I think I'm going to incorporate my own method of doing something like that, like before I can go get something to eat, I have to do 10 reps of a given exercise for the day or something. I'll work it out,but great idea!

Ahh!! That is a great idea!! and remember, while you arm bike - have a drink of water too!!
Another "sneaky" exercise - try kicking me every now and then - but not too hard - please!! You could alternate this with arm bike!!

I do something I call deliberate movement when life gets so busy and complicated that I cannot get my 3 mile walk in. I parked as far from the entrance as possible and is safe. I then lock the car and walk quickly into the business. I take the stairs instead of the elevator.
