New Month = New Goals: Time to Beat the Exhaustion
Saturday, September 03, 2011
Well August started off with a strong start on my road to weight loss and becoming healthier. The past 2 weeks have not gone quite as well as I had hoped. I let the hectic schedule and exhaustion get in the way of my workouts and food tracking. Being back at work has really taken a toll on my energy level, and I have let it get the best of me.
Stress has also been a key factor this past week. My father-in-law was admitted into the hospital a week ago today with a bleed in his brain, which the doctors are still unsure of the cause. I am happy to report that he is doing much better and the bleeding has stopped.
Now it is a new month, and time for me to get my butt back in gear. I need to take the time to do this for myself, which is always hard for me because I am usually putting everyone else first. This is important to me and I need to find a way to make it happen, especially since I am already about half way to meeting my overall goal.
MY SEPTEMBER GOALS:
~ 3 Cardio Workouts per Week
~ 2 Strength Training Workouts per Week
~ Track food intake 5x/week
~ Drink 64oz of water daily
~ Say NO to soda 6 days per Week
~ Get my house organized and keep it that way (This is going to be the most challenging to reach with 3 kids in the house full-time (6 and under) and 2 others here part-time (12 & 10).
I NEED TO TAKE CONTROL OF MY ACTIONS AND STOP LETTING A BUSY SCHEDULE AND EXHAUSTION GET THE BEST OF ME!!! i CAN AND i WILL SUCCEED!!! LET'S WORK TOGETHER TO MAKE OUR DREAMS REALITY!!!
